Associate Professor Dr. Khairul Hafizi, Director of the UniMAP Alumni Relations Centre, represented UniMAP at the 3rd Public University Entrepreneurs Convention held at Arena Gemilang, DeTAR Putra, UNIMAS on 19–20 October 2024. The event brought together representatives from 20 public universities (PU) across Malaysia.

UniMAP showcased two successful alumni entrepreneurs:

  1. Pengiran Muhammad Adil (Electrical Engineering alumnus, graduated in 2014) from Moktís Ice Cream.
  2. Sulza Nur Irwan (Electronic Engineering alumnus, graduated in 2018) from Trainovation Immersive Resources.

Both highlighted their achievements in their respective fields during the convention.

Preceding the convention, Associate Professor Dr. Khairul Hafizi participated in the UniMAP Alumni Waqf Fund Campaign with Sarawak Zone alumni at IG Ais Krim, Waterfront Kuching. Among the attendees were notable alumni, including Dr. Rahman (UNIMAS), Dr. Lee Yee Ann (UiTM), En. Sulza (Entrepreneur), Mr. Amirul (Electrical Consultant), Mr. Santiish (Sarawak Energy), and Mrs. Kuwi.

The UniMAP booth also received visits from YBhg Professor Dr. Ahmad Hata Rasit, Vice-Chancellor of UNIMAS, and Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Sulong Matjeraie, Chairman of the UNIMAS Board of Directors. Their presence underscored strong support for UniMAP alumni entrepreneurship initiatives.
